$269.99 (this price was last seen 2 hours ago on this listing). Jun 6, 2014 i know it's probably impossible to say, but the new canon looks pretty great. I also have a 5d mark iii and made a decision early on to purchase l series glass exclusively so that i could use it on any canon body. The sigma is better between 18 and 20 seriously though, the canon should be great as long as it isn't abused.

The compatibility of the sigma lens also allows you to vary the focal.
